Respiratory muscle training performed with the POWERbreathe device effectively strengthens the respiratory muscles, relieving shortness of breath during physical activity and daily activities .
POWERbreathe Plus Breathing Trainer – How It Works
POWERbreathe works by using a technique known as resistance training. This technique works by strengthening the breathing muscles by forcing them to work harder – the same principle used to strengthen the muscles in your arms by using dumbbells or lifting weights.
During training with the POWERbreathe Plus device, taking breaths is more difficult. This is the result of resistance training that works on the muscles involved in the inhalation phase: primarily the diaphragm and chest muscles. During exhalation, there is no resistance and air can be exhaled normally, which allows the chest and respiratory muscles to relax by pushing air out of the lungs naturally.
When used correctly, POWERbreathe Plus delivers noticeable benefits in just a few weeks.
