Design of a training room (weight room) for a sports club, which is the central part of a newly built multifunctional sports facility.
The room is adapted for motor preparation training for a group of players and is equipped with all the necessary medical training tools so that players can return even stronger after injuries.
In addition to training for athletes, this place combines a professional approach with the possibility of recreational training.
The hall fulfills three basic functions, which are symbolized by the conventional division into zones:
- Strength & Conditioning
- Mobility & Agility
- Accessories
-Cardio
1. S&C Zone
A. 8 fully equipped autonomous Multi Rack stations, each equipped with:
- Power Arms Multifunctional Arms
- Bars with different types of grips
- Rubber pins
- Rollers
- Olympic barbells
- AB2 universal adjustable bench
- Resistance bands
- Safety belts and arms
- Insert benches (step, box squat, box jump)
- Olympic competition plates + fractional plates (small denominations)
4 of which are additionally equipped with power bars (explosive training with resistance bands)
B. Between the racks there are pulleys with adjustable pulleys, belt squat and dip stations, as well as storage space for dumbbells and kettlebells.
C. The zone is complemented by a battery of four professional Keiser Functional Trainer devices with a compressor.
2. M&A Zone
A. 28x4m grass pasture for agility training with sleds (we suggested 2 pieces of each type - traditional multi-functional H-type sleds , speed sleds , Tank carts )
B. The grass at each end is finished with a ballistic wall and ball racks. Each rack is equipped with shelves for a set of 10 wallball/medball balls and a shelf dedicated to a set of small-weight slamball balls, larger-weight slamball balls have a designated place on the floor under the rack - additional shelves can be added if necessary.
C. 5 accessory strip modules (4.5 m long each) standardly equipped with 10 landmine stations and 5 Nordic curl stations.
D. Gymnastic ladders
E. Soft box plyometrics
F. Glute ham rollers on a mobile stand
G. A portable accessory cart for mobility equipment (rollers, balls, massage guns, rubber bands, mats) and small agility accessories, e.g. gliding discs, cones, hurdles or tib bars. The cart can also be taken outside the room for purposes such as warming up if the training unit takes place outside the weight room.
3. Accessory Zone
In this zone we will find all additional machines and trainers that complement the basic training as well as measuring devices for performing tests.
A. Isometric Platform for testing using force plates
B. Double-function 45° Crane (plate loaded)
C. RH/GHD Combo Multifunctional Bench (plate loaded)
E. Dual-function machine for hamstrings and quadriceps - leg curl/extension (pin select)
F. Smith Machine (for training for people with limited strength and mobility)
4. Cardio Zone
Minimalist cardio zone. Our suggested equipment is 4 Concept2 bikes , two Intenza electric treadmills and a natural treadmill , which will fully fulfill their function as a warm-up or performance training element.
Additionally, the room has an appropriate amount of free space, where we have also smuggled in our characteristic patterns cut into the rubber floor using waterjet technology, which will enrich the training possibilities and constitute another tool for creative use by trainers.
It is a space where not only players and coaches have all the necessary tools to develop their skills, physiotherapists for medical training, but also training in such a space makes us even more proud of belonging to the club and the community supporting it, connecting players and fans in one training room.
